Affidavit of Dr. Jacob Sommer given on 14 March 1948. In his presence the general situation was sometimes discussed between Dr. Wolff and Dr. Mueller in their capacity as chairman of the munitions and weapons commission. The measures taken by the supreme leadership were completely rejected. The view point was, however, expressed that one had to hold on "like a soldier on a lost outpost" as personal intervention was impossible. (91-92)
