D2 -NIK-9532. [Exhibit 1371] Affidavit of Ihn, dated 23 June 1947, stating that the first foreign workers arrived at Krupp in 1941-42 and the first concentration camp prisoners in the summer of autumn of 1944 although these had been requested in September 1942. Ihn admits complaints of foreign workers concerning bad food, that he realized that steel birches had been distributed; that he was informed of workers being beaten and that he spoke to the Directorate and especially to Janssen concerning mistreatment of workers. Ihn ordered the 520 concentration camp prisoners upon instructions from the Directorate. He frequently visited the camps and was fully informed of the conditions and knew that only workers appeared for work were fed. This document is an affirmation of Ihn's affidavit (D-274) made on 1 October 1945.
