Expert opinion of Dr. Karl Geiler,l professor of commercial law of Heidelberg University, former Prime Minister of Hesse, dated 27 May 1948, concerning the responsibility ("Verantwortlichkeit") of the "Vorstand" according to the commercial law and particularly to the German "Aktienrecht". He points out difference between responsibility pursuant to commercial law and responsibility pursuant to criminal law. Dr. Geiler also touches upon aspects of international law. He refers to the opinion of Dr. Hallstein well known expert on commercial law,l professor and present rector of the University of Frankfort.
