Affidavit by Mr. Highland G. Ratscheller, USA, President of the Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation, Pittsburgh, Pa., dated 13 May 1948. As President of the Niresta Steel Corporation he had repeated personal contact and kept up a correspondence with Professor Houdremont from 1928 to 1935. The letter provided him with exhaustive and valuable information on the manufacture of rust-resisting steel for manufacture in the USA. (1)
