Affidavit by Karl Drebbert dated 20 November 1947. As cello teacher of Houdremont's daughter and as a friend of the house, he frequently was able to observe the basic aversion against National Socialism with which Houdremont was filled. Houdremont was never afraid to express his views even in larger circles. Because of this and his association with non-Aryans he was in disrepute with the Party. From the beginning he viewed the war pessimistically. (64-68)
