Affidavit by Walter Schneider dated 16 January 1948. He has known Houdremont since 1921, when the latter joined the experimental institute of the Krefeld Steel Works. He confirms from personal knowledge that Dr. Fry in 1934 accused Houdremont, Prof. Goerens, and Dr. Korschan of hfgh treason in order to bring about their dismissal from the firm of Krupp. Dr. Gustav Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach decided to dismiss Dr. Fry immediately. Houdremont built up especially the production of semi-finished material and peace-time material of the firm of Krupp. (1-3)
