Affidavit by Friedrich Maarhaus dated 8 March 1948. In September 1944 Houdremont gave the plant directors instructions for the behaviour of the staff in the case of imminent occupation. The passing on of this information to supervisors and foremen resulted in the witness and other workers being held and interrogated by the Gestapo. (62-63)
