Affidavit by Franz Stapelfeldt, dated 23 March 1948. In July-August 1944, the witness, Director General of the Deutsche Schiffs- und Maschineneau Aktiongesellschaft (Deschimag), Bremen, had an encounter with Saur, the Commissioner of the Speer Ministry, who, on the occasion of an inspection of the works, insulted him deeply before a large audience and described him as a sabatour, because the dockyards had allegedly held up deliveries. The witness lost his post. (22-28)
