As regards the file note of Herr Erich Mueller dated 14 May 1943 - Document of the Prosecution NI 2897, Exh. 654, Document Book 19, P.86 of the English, 112 of the German text - the witness declares that at that time already it had been ascertained that he had never discussed with Houdremont the subject of a control of French foundries, so that this note was based on an error.
