Affidavit Dr. Heinz Gehm dated 28 February 1948. In the subcommittee Ferrous Alloys, a subsection of the Central Committee Raw Materials and Traffic of the Reich Association Iron (RVE) which was founded in 1942, Houdremont was only the deputy of the witness who was the head of this subcommittee. Houdremont never took part in a meeting of this committee. See Document of the Prosecution NIK 3873, Exh. 595, Doc. Book 17, page 37 of the English, 53 of the German text. In his capacity as head of the Sub-Section (Fachgruppe) Refined Steel within the Economic Group Iron Producing Industry, the witness occasionally invited Houdremont, among other experts, to free discussions.
