Affidavit by Dr. Hans Joachim Wiester of 12 March 1948. Witness was employed at the Research Department of Krupp, Essen, from April 1939. Investigations were made by Proffessor Houdremont on the broad basis of fundamental research, examples being supplied. Of prime importance was the preservation of Krupp's scientific prestige and peace-time production. (80-82)
