Affidavit by Dr. Walter Wyss, Weinfelden, (Switzerland), dated 13 November 1947. Over and above his own subject Houdremont was equally interested in all subjects of art, literature and science. Houdremont judged the conditions in Germany with unprejudiced detachment. At the period of the German Wehrmacht's greatest success he predicted an end similar to that of 1918 and severally condemned the excesses of National Socialist rulers in Germany. (54-55)
