Affidavit by Dr. Hans Stanger, lecturer at the Technical College Zurich, dated 24 November 1947. During his activity with the firm of Brown Boveri & Co. AG, Baden, (Switzerland), he had an opportunity of meeting Houdremont in many conferences on technical problems. In a most generous manner, Houdremont had always shown his readiness to help with his own superior knowledge and the extensive means of his firm. His standard work "Manual on the Development of Special Steel" is an additional proof of his willingness to cooperate with his professional colleagues all over the world. His international scientific attitude is clearly shown by his literary activity. (44-47)
