Copy of excerpt of Document 1456 PS of the prosecution in Case XI submited in Document Book 122A. Memorandum by General Thomas dated 3 March 1942 about a meeting with Minister Speer. Goering resigns from the control of the economy and devotes himself to the Luftwaffe. The Four Year Plan is no longer a decisive and authoritative instrument. Speer executes the tasks in Goering's name, because he has the greatest influence with the Fuehrer. Thomas has the greatest amount of experiences and the machinery at his disposal, the Reichsmarshall has to give his name. (16-17)
